Shaun Hagen

Little Falls NJ - Shaun Hagen, age 37, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. Born in Paterson to Ron and Cathy Hagen, Shaun grew up in the Stoney Road section of Paterson before moving to Little Falls in 1998. He graduated from Holy Angels Elementary School, where the friends he made were more like brothers. He graduated from Passaic Valley High School and attended Bergen Community College. He had been employed as a "Slinger" for Big Daddy's Hot Dogs on Main Street in Little Falls before becoming a Medical Biller for West Paterson Family Medical Center in 2007. Shaun enjoyed music and was a talented self-taught drummer and guitar player, with pointers from his dad. Shaun often spoke movie quotes with just about everyone; especially with his brother, Chris "River." He hoped everyone would know which movie a quote came from, look out if you didn't : ) He had recently rediscovered his love of Art, immersing himself in his drawings! Shaun was predeceased in death by his Maternal Grandparents, Stanley J Gorski, Jr and Eileen Gorski; his Paternal Grandparents, Douglas and Dorothy Hagen; his Maternal Aunts, Linda Gorski and Elaine Gorski; his Maternal Uncle, Ronnie Gorski; and Paternal Uncle, Doug Hagen. Shaun is survived by his parents, Ron and Cathy Hagen of Little Falls; his fiance, Carrie Bresnan of Elmwood Park; his brother, Christoper Hagen and his partner, Melanie Jacob of Saddle Brook; his Maternal Uncle, Stanley J Gorski III of Vernon; his Maternal Aunts, Lori Gorski McCauley-Strawder and her husband Larry Strawder of Little Falls, and Nancy Gorski-Glew of Sussex; his Maternal Cousins, Andrew J McCauley III and his wife Trish of Saddle Brook and their children Andrew IV, Jason, and Shaun, Jessica Gorski of CA and her children Matthew Gage, Schyler Rose, Aiden Rain, Riley Sky, and Ayrow Stanley, Christine Glew of NC and her daughter Jasmina, David Glew of Sussex, and Jason Gorski of Vernon; his Paternal Uncles Bob Hagan of WA, Roger Hagen and his wife Karen of WA; his Paternal Aunts, Mary Curci and her husband Ray of FL, Doris Anne Gomez and her husband Kevin of NY State, Janice Reda and her husband Tony of NY State and Cathy Hagen of WA; his Paternal Cousins, Raymond Curci, Colleen Curci-Gluklikh, and Darren Curci of FL, Lauren Gomez of NY State, Lisa Hagan and Jackie Hagan of WA, Mark Reda and Ashley Reda-McNamara of NY State, Dougie Hagen of WA, and Eric Hagen and Alyssa Hagen-Marchington of WA. Condolences may be offered to the family from 3:00pm to 6:00pm on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Woman's Club of Little Falls, 93 Prospect St, Little Falls NJ 07424. Prayers will be offered at 4pm by Sister Anne Matthew followed by anyone who would like to share a special memory they have of Shaun. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the family to help defray Shaun's medical and funeral expenses. If there are any remaining monies, the family will put it towards helping with the medical expenses of Shaun's Godmother, Nancy Gorski-Glew, who is Cathy's sister.
