Peggy Ann Parker

Franklin- Peggy Ann Parker, age 72, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2023 at Morristown Medical Center. Born in Newton to the late Jack and Elizabeth (Scrowcroft) Snook, Peggy lived in Sussex County most of her life. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from the Sussex County Homestead after 28 years of service. Peggy was a member of the Lafayette Federated Church and enjoyed participating in Operation Christmas Child at the church, which was a program that collected toys for children. Anything to do with children, she actively participated in and out of church. Peggy, along with her husband Allen, would dress up as Mr. And Mrs. Klaus and were known around Lafayette Village and surrounding areas for their dedication in bringing smiles on all the children’s holiday faces. She loved to garden and had the green thumb of the family. Peggy was also a gifted crocheter, making shawls, blankets, costumes and pillows for her family and friends. Besides her parents, Peggy was predeceased by her brother, Jack Snook . She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Allen R. Parker, Sr.; her sons, Allen R. Parker, Jr. and his wife Dana of King George, Virginia, Jason Parker and his wife Jennifer of Franklin, Stephen Parker and his wife Kathleen of Hamilton, Delaware, and Daniel Parker and his significant other Amy of Montevideo, Minnesota; her daughters, Carissa Crawford and her husband Kevin of Butler and Faith Muddiman and her husband Eric of Goose Creek, South Carolina; her brothers, Donald Snook and his wife Susan of Hampton and Jimmy Snook and his wife Penny(Belcher) of Coco Beach, Florida; her sisters, Judy Bruley and her husband Roger of Ashburn, Virginia, Nancy Snook of Lewes, Delaware, Bonnie Haughey and her late husband Joseph of Ridley, Pennsylvania, Tammy Kent and her husband Daniel of Frankford, and Amy Hennighan and her husband Dan of Andover; her grandchildren, Austin, Stephen, Jr., Lily, Henry, Kayla, Cameron, Taylor, Preston, Elisse, Hudson, Aaron, Allen and Iylah; and her honorary grandchildren, extended family, and many neighbors and friends. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. at the Lafayette Federated Church, 180 NJ-15, Lafayette, NJ 07848 on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Friends may pay their respects to the family prior to the service from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church.
