Melanie Ann Peluso Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Hamburg - Melanie A. Peluso, age 43, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Newton Medical Center. Born in Westwood, Melanie was raised in Vernon and graduated from Vernon High School in 1990. She received her nursing Degree from Morris County Community College and her Bachelor of Science from Centenary College. Melanie had been employed by Amicus Therapeutics as an Associate Director in Cranbury since September 2009 until she took a job with Daiichi Sankyo Pharma as a director in Quality Management in Edison in May of this year. She was a member of St. Jude The Apostle Church in Hamburg. Melanie was predeceased by her father, Bruce Miller in 1989. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Christopher S. Peluso; her twin sons, Anthony Bruce and Vincent Thomas; her mother, Mary Ellen Piscopo Miller of Hampton; her brother, David Miller and his wife Suzy of Vernon; her grandmother, Mary Piscopo of Hamburg; her father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Phyllis Peluso of Hazlet; her brother-in-law, Matthew Peluso and his wife Marcella Peluso of Silver Springs, Maryland; her nephews, Andrew and Brian Miller; and her nieces, Erin Miller and Toni Peluso. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Jude The Apostle Church, 4-24 Beaver Run Road, Hamburg, NJ 07419. Private cremation services will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Friday, December 11, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. In accordance to her wishes, Melanie's family generously gave the gift of life through organ donation through the Sharing Network. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to a fund that will be set up in the twin boy's names for their future education.
