Wantage - Judith A. Crawn, age 72 peacefully passed away at her daughter’s residence in Wantage with her loving family near her side. Born and raised in Franklin to the late James and Dolores (Courtright) Vanderhoff, Judy lived in Franklin and moved to Milford, Pennsylvania, where she lived for several years before moving in with her daughter recently. Judy embraced life with a joyful heart and found happiness in the simple things that made each day special. A dedicated member of the Hamburg Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, she valued the friendships she made and the opportunity to serve her community. She always looked forward to traveling to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where she enjoyed the peaceful beauty and slower pace of the Amish country. An avid reader, Judy especially loved Amish novels and was known to finish an entire book in a single day when a story captured her attention. Judy had a wonderful appreciation for beauty. She loved spending time in her garden, but she also found great pleasure in taking drives simply to admire colorful flowers, beautifully landscaped yards, and homes decorated for the holidays. Christmas and Halloween were especially dear to her heart. She delighted in seeing festive displays, and Halloween gave her the perfect excuse to dress up, have fun, and share plenty of smiles with family and friends. The greatest joy in Judy's life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially when they gathered around the table to make crafts, decorate for the holidays, and create treasured memories together. Her love for celebrating every season, her kind heart, and her ability to find happiness in everyday moments will be remembered by all who knew and loved her. Judy's legacy is one of love, laughter, creativity, and togetherness. The traditions she began, the memories she created, and the joy she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of her family for generations to come. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her son, John F. Crawn, III; her siblings, Linda Lozier, Jimmy Vanderhoff, and Joan Iacovino; and her grandson, Matthew. Judy is survived by her daughter, Dolores Tucci and her husband Brian of Wantage; her son, Kevin Crawn of Ludowici, Georgia; her brothers, Thomas Courtright and his wife Frances of Frankford and Wayne Vanderhoff and his wife Verna of Milford, Pennsylvania; her sister, Carol Schaal and her husband Robert of Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Brian Tucci Jr. and his two children, Elena and Evan; Tiffany and her husband Tyler McClelland and their 3 daughters, Jordyn, Jocelyn and Jayla; Kaitlyn Tucci and her son, Jaxson; Samantha and her 5 children, Aubrey, Mathew, Wesley, LillyAnna and Sophia; Hope and her husband William Brown; Kasey and her 3 boys, Anthony, Kolton and Owen; Leann, Madison, Austin and Cory, and her longtime companion, Kenneth Lambert, his children, and grandchildren; her daughter-in-law, Carla Crawn of Wantage; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, several of whom she cared for as if they were her own children. A celebration of Judy’s life will be held in the near future for family and friends. Please check on the funeral home website for the date to be announced.
