Wantage - Helen Novak, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at her residence while surrounded by her loving family. Born in Passaic to the late Bernard and Aniela (Kopec) Ziemba, Mrs. Novak grew up in the Quarryville section of Wantage and lived in Cranford for forty years before moving back to Sussex County a year ago. She had been employed by Schering-Plough Corporation in Kenilworth and had retired in 2002 from their Union location. She was a member of the Polish Falcons. Mrs. Novak was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Novak in 1988 and her two sisters, Jennie Ziemba in 1986 and Gladys Ziemba in 2008. Mrs. Novak is survived by her daughter, Eileen A. Eichenlaub and her husband Frank, Jr. of Wantage; her grandchildren, Ellen Moore and her husband Jim, III of Califon and Frank Eichenlaub, III and his wife Justina of Wantage; and her six great grandchildren, Abigail, Gillian, CJ, Taylor, Xavier, and Kilian. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at the Pinkel Funeral Home, 31 Bank Street (Route 23), Sussex. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Monica R.C. Church, 33 Unionville Avenue, Sussex, NJ 07461. Interment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Friends may pay their respects to the family on Sunday, March 13, 2016 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
